Chicago teachers' strike posted by Richard Seymour

So, a right-wing provocateur and film-maker infiltrated the big teachers' protest in Chicago yesterday, part of the strike against Emanuel's education 'reforms' (see my article for background).  Obviously attempting to make the protest look foolish, he actually made it look amazingly good:

Chicago workers close to victory posted by Richard Seymour

The factory occupation has forced the Bank of America to back down.

Update. It's not over yet:

A spokeswoman for the United Electrical Workers union said the statement was released prematurely because negotiators had not yet finished hammering out a deal.

"We're hopeful that something might happen today, but nothing has been decided and no settlement has been reached," Leah Fried told AFP.
