Written statement from Hamid, a Libyan citizen from Tripioli, who came to study in the UK a week before demonstrations in Libya began.

Update: due to the unexpectedly large number of people expressing an interest in this event, it's had to be delayed so that the organisers can find a more capacious venue. The new date is Friday 22nd April, and I will let you know of the new venue closer to the time.
