Tower Hamlets college strikers win posted by Richard Seymour
I'm hearing that the strike by lecturers to defend jobs at Tower Hamlets college has just won this morning, hands down. There will be no compulsory redundancies, and voluntary redundancy packages have been improved. The workers were cheered by a supportive crowd as they returned to work. A bad omen for any government intent on slashing the public sector.Details here and here.
