Solidarity launch is a huge success. posted by Richard Seymour
Solidarity meeting pulls in 600 people for the kick-off which, the reporter notes (I wouldn't mention it myself), was roughly double the amount that attended the SSP meeting the day before. There's a similar report here. But, as always, the best report is here, because it talks about politics. I'm glad to see from the SW report that Osama Saeed turned up to talk about racism and the clampdown on civil liberties. Good man himself.
The website for the new party is here. It is a bit rudimentary at the moment, but you can at least look at the membership form.
