Who, exactly, is conducting the investigation here?Painstaking searches continued at houses in Walthamstow, High Wycombe and Birmingham. US officials said police had found a pre-recorded martyrdom tape, airline schedules and even flight tickets at the addresses.
Detectives declined to confirm the reports, saying only that they had found items “of interest”.
How kind of "US officials" to keep the flames well-stoked.
