The prisoner Israel can't let go. posted by Richard Seymour
So get this: there's a Hezbollah member being held captive by the Israeli security forces, and his name is Nissim Nasser, a Jewish Lebanese man who acquired Israeli citizenship so that he could spy on the country and pass information back to the Party of God (so ran the indictment and on this basis was he sentenced). Hezbollah wanted him back during one of the prisoner exchanges and ... well, let's recap quickly: he's a Hezbollah member, he's Lebanese, he's Jewish, and he got Israeli citzenship. Hezbollah wanted him back as part of an exchange and Israel refused to release him on the grounds that he is Israeli!Oh no. You've taken your "right of return", pal, you can't take it back now!
