Israel Strikes Lebanon despite 'suspension' - but targets "nothing specific". posted by Richard Seymour
48 hours went by so quickly. The IDF has continued its strikes in southern Lebanon, in support of IDF forces fighting on the ground near the village of Taibe, where some of it soldiers have been wounded. The temporary 'halt' in air strikes hardly has any meaning in any case since Israel has stipulated that it will use air strikes against alleged rocket launch sites and continue ground assaults which - guess what? - need air support. It's particularly preposterous when it can be broken for the sake of hitting nothing specific as the IDF claim.Israel is continuing its invasion, attempting to sieze Lebanon's territory all the way up to the Litani river.
