Morning reading. posted by Richard Seymour
Here's a few bits and pieces well worth having a look at. First of all, Fascinating History lives up to its name with a short article about the genesis of Shakespeare's Globe.John at Shot by Both Sides draws attention to a bit of schoolboy stupidity by some bigoted hack, which results in the poor sap getting his ass repeatedly kicked .
Charlotte Street, meanwhile, has X-Ray eyes . I hope you're wearing clean undies. K-Punk disinters Rod Liddle's fatuous columns for a forensic examination.
Finally, via Alphonse , the Commonplace Book has an excellent rumination on Oscar Wilde as a Nietzchean socialist .
As an elderly relative used to say, "break your fast children!"
