After reading this glowing review of the centre-left Dissent magazine at David Horowitz's Front Page magazine, I've got a better idea. There should be a website devoted to unearthing the structural affinities between Cold War liberalism and neoconservatism. Lots of little diagrams showing how the memes and rhetorical tics flow back and forth; maps showing overlapping discursive fields; scattergraphs depicting correlations and so on. As a topographical exercise it would be both useful and a precious wind-up for the likes of Horowitz and HP Sauce.
